Wednesday, July 31st-Denali back to Anchorage via Talkeetna

Today we hooked up and headed South through Denali State Park. There is a wonderful turnout on the highway called Denali View. We stopped to try to catch a glimpse of the tall one but there were just enough clouds out to hide it. Anyway, we drove a few miles off the highway to a small village called Talkeetna. It was built originally as a home for the workers on the Alaska Railroad. We had lunch there and walked around for a while. Here are two pictures of the goofy kids at a moose sign:

When we got back to Anchorage, it was a FDE-Fine Dining Experience at Costco!
